About Mixed Media Portraits on Paper

My mixed media portraits are produced as high quality giclée prints which have been photo-manipulated. They are then printed on archival watercolor, 100% cotton, acid free, 310 gram premium paper and then enhanced with colored pencils or pastels. They can be made to any size from 8" X 10" to 40" X 60". The prints are also embellished with various collage elements suitable to the piece.

The goal is to create a portrait that is unique to your subject whether it be a person or pet. Backgrounds can be changed or modified and elements added to personalize the work and will be photo-manipulated to create a mood.

I can create your portrait from a photo that you love... but don't worry if you don't have it in digital form. I can scan it and work from the scan. If you don't have a photo, I can arrange for a photoshoot to be done.

We will have a discussion about your subject beforehand so I can create a piece that reflects their personality and/or interests.

Pricing will be determined by the individual piece and size which we will decide on in advance. Prints will be provided unframed so you can frame them to suit your taste and decor.

The concept is to create a portrait that is truly unique and unlike any other portrait you may have seen.
